Earlier this summer, Lady Gaga had to cancel her Born This Way Ball concert at Indonesia’s Gelora Bung Karno Stadium due to security concerns caused by FPI [Islamic Defender Front] members. Many of her fans were upset, since the concert would’ve marked the pop diva’s first ever stop in Indonesia.

Despite having had a few month to forget about the incident, it seems Lady Gaga still had Indonesia on her mind when she wrote a new song entitled “Partynauseous”.

From Tribun Kaltim:

Wow, Lady Gaga Wrote a Song About the FPI

LONDON, tribunkaltim.co.id – Lady Gaga was upset after having been forced to cancel her first concert in Indonesia. Instead of taking revenge with brutal actions however, the singer, who is also dubbed as “Mother Monster” confided in a song.

Partynauseous, is the title of the song that she wrote and will be released as part of newcomer singer Kendrick Lamar‘s album. The song is about Lady Gaga’s failed concert plan in Jakarta, which was cancelled due to protests of several Islamic groups such as the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).

Indeed, the song was created for Jakarta as she revealed via Twitter. “I wrote “PARTYNAUSEOUS” about Jakarta, and my relationship with that country [Indonesia],” she explained.

She continued to vent through separate lyrics, “Wishing I could “get high with the enemy” and make peace,” she said.

FPI aggressively rejected the concert which was planned to be held on June 3rd by holding rallies and threatening to make a scene in the middle of her concert.

In an interview with the BBC, one of the FPI leaders called out Lady Gaga as a devil worshiper. Lady Gaga then cancelled her concert amid fears of the safety of her fans in Jakarta.

She wrote on her Twitter account: “There is nothing holy about hatred”. Partynauseous will be released on September 6th. Let’s just wait for the full lyrics to be released.

Comments from Kaskus:

Theist:

Lady Gaga is super smart. She made use of the incident with FPI to release a new song…

Mc Gyver:

FPI might be the back-up vocals or background dancers [for this song], boss.

Samuelpdd:

Great, FPI could gain more fame in the international arena….

S8Y:

FPI = EMBARRASSING INDONESIA IN THE EYES OF THE WORLD.

Putune.Mbah:

Maybe FPI will try to be involved in the making of Lady Gaga’s latest music video too.

Mr.adiemonarchy:

FPI is so complicated and always meddle in other people’s business. They think that they are perfect.

DawulSukriwul:

Wow… I guess there will be another protest once they [FPI] feel Lady Gaga is ruining their reputation.

Deltamacmillan:

Is FPI planning to compose new songs too?

Soehartoket:

Do you actually think that FPI members understand the English language?

Mimpay:

I’m sure some Westerners might think FPI = FBI in Indonesia.

Hydrophobic:

“There is nothing holy about hatred” Have you heard, FPI members? If a supposed “devil worshiper” can say that, who’s the devil then?

PoacherShop:

I’m gonna listen to this song in private, otherwise I might face the wrath of FPI’s supporters.

SuniC:

LOL. FPI will organize another protest to claim royalties [from Lady Gaga’s song]

Krenyol:

Who cares… I don’t give a damn about Lady Gaga.

Beibeh18:

That song is probably not meant for the FPI, but for the hypocrites in Indonesia. In fact, no other country has ever had any issue with her concerts.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Lady Gaga’s music? Or do you want to invite her to hell?
